Acrylic gives us the broadest design freedom of any material. We layer 5–30 mm cast acrylic blocks, sandwich photographic prints between transparent layers, laser-cut custom silhouettes, and print full-CMYK artwork directly on the surface via UV printing. The result is a recognition piece that looks like nothing else in the room — every gradient, mascot, sponsor logo, and tagline reproduces accurately at the brightness levels modern brand systems demand. Acrylic also keeps weight (and shipping cost) reasonable for high-volume corporate programs. Can acrylic awards be made in any shape?
Yes — we laser-cut acrylic to any 2D outline and can layer multiple shaped pieces for a three-dimensional silhouette. CAD files (SVG, AI, PDF) speed the design phase but we will build from a sketch or reference photo.
How are gradient logos and photographs reproduced?
UV printing directly on the acrylic surface, or as a print layer sandwiched between transparent layers. Both achieve true CMYK with brand-accurate color matching against a Pantone reference.
Does acrylic yellow or scratch over time?
Cast acrylic (our default) is UV-stable and far more scratch-resistant than extruded. We use it for awards specifically because it stays clear and bright on display for decades.
What's typical lead time for an acrylic award?
2–4 weeks for most builds, including sketch, proof approval, production, and shipping. Multi-layer sculptural pieces can take 5–6 weeks.
